Sensei Jack is one of a kind. He does a great job engaging the kids to listen and truly learn. The things that Sensei teaches are life lessons and values, not just self defense/judo. He pushed the kids to be their best in a way the kids don’t even know. He truly is an amazing teacher! We love him. My daughter has been there for 2 years and loves it. We are looking forward to sending our son in the crawl program. Thank you for loving these kids as much as you do!

Sensei Jack is a rare gem. He combines his reverence for martial arts with philosophical ideology to help children make strong choices. He rewards effort not participation and helps the kids develop a sense of accountability with his gentle but firm direction. 10/10 I am so glad I found this place and drive from Long Island that’s how good it is!

Joining Krystek's has been a life-changing experience. From my first day, I felt welcome and supported by the instructors and students. The sense of community here is truly special. There is a strong camaraderie among students. We support and motivate each other, celebrating each other's successes and encouraging each other through setbacks. The instructors are experts who love the sport and are incredible mentors. They’ve guided my growth as a martial artist and as person. Training at Krystek improved my physical fitness, mental resilience, and confidence. I've learned to approach challenges with a positive and disciplined mindset and to persevere through the tough times. My son is enrolled in the kids' judo program. The class environment is safe, and the classes foster physical, emotional, and cognitive development. My son went from being shy and reserved to an expressive and active participant. Before starting Krystek’s, my son was placed in the adaptive physical education class. I firmly believe that Sensei Jack’s coaching brought about confidence and strength to rejoin the general ed class. This dojo is truly like a home and creates an amazing sense of community among both the adult and junior classes. Sensei Jack Sr. and Sensei Jack Jr. are both attentive to their students developments not only on the mat but also in real world scenarios to give every student a sense of self-confidence. Coming here has been a blast and it’s something I always look forward to!
